UfO Watching Event Information

Please note: This event has been very popular and very well attended in the past, so keep in mind that we may have to limit the amount on persons who attend. We recommend that you sign up to go, as soon as you can.
This event takes place in the foothills - beyond Enumclaw
We have a lot of fun doing this event, and there is usually a large crowd that comes with us, so expect that we can all have fun, laugh, talk and quite possibly experience seeing the UFO's that frequent this area. There's only one time that we did not see any, and we've been there at least 20 times.
We meet at the Naches Tavern in Greenwater at 7:00 PM. Those who wish to do so, can eat dinner with us. (They make great sandwiches and have a special BBQ going on every weekend).
Just before dark, we head to the location we use for this event. Directions will be given to you as we get ready to go there. Very easy drive of about 6 miles
This is a FREE event, to attend
We will be out in the dark of the moon, in the forest, but very near the edge of the forest
Even though it is in August when the weather is warm, where we are going will be cool at night, in the mountain's foothills, and can be chilly.
We will be able to drive to where we are going, so don't think that you need to hike in the woods, but we will be in a remote area about 6 miles from the nearest of civilization
There are Porta-Putty's there, or you can drive those 6 miles to the nearest bathroom, back at the Naches Tavern.
So, we require that you adhere to the following guidelines.
If you do not, you will just end up leaving early, and/or not enjoying the experience at all:
- You must sign a responsibility waiver to attend, stating that the Psychic Spectrum is not responsible for your safety or well being, before you attend. You can do this digitally if need be
- Dress warm. Full length pants, long sleeves if you can
- Wear sox and shoes
- Bring a very warm coat - NOT a jacket
- Bring a folding lawn chair to sit on
- Bring a blanket as it just makes you a little more comfy and cozy
- Bring a small (not very bright) flashlight. (If you bring a bright one, it will ruin others experience as our eyes get used to the darkness
- Bring any snacks or drinks you desire - (NO alcohol allowed)
- Cameras are an option, but remember we all have cell phones and can use that camera if you want to. (Less to bring that way)
Note: Skip always brings all the fixins' to make S'mores for everyone who wants them. Kind of like a tailgate party .....
Regarding Bigfoot ----
Bigfoot Sightings
The reason we combine this event with Bigfoot Watching, is because one year, when we were sitting there watching the skies with approximately 30 people, we all were suddenly startled by a very scary and blood curdling scream coming from the woods in the valley below us.
This scream was followed by knocking on a tree, as if someone was striking the tree with a baseball bat or large stick.
This was followed shortly after that, by a similar scream coming in the woods much further down the valley and was followed by similar knocking on a tree.
This went on for several minutes. Later we talked with a respected and experienced, well known Bigfoot Researcher, Samantha Ellen Ritchie, (deceased 2021 due to Covid-19), that where we were, is a known hotbed for Bigfoot sightings and experiences.
So, Expect that this may likely happen again - which would be phenomenal for us all. Those of us who were there, will never forget our first time experiencing it
